It's about time I finally wear this dress. So if for some unknown reason you've been living under a rock you would know that I'm basically living in hi/low dresses and/or skirts. So today kinda in a rush I pulled out my dress from forever 21 that I got a few weeks back. I got in 1x cause the 2x just looked to big on me. But when I got home the top part of the dress was to tight. But today I was like what the hell "F it" so I put it on and honey let me tell you, I'm feelin the hell outta myself right now lol and of course I had to throw on the leopard print wedges to set it off! but I love this dress, And feel extra cute!

Hey all, so I definitely think skirts and dress will be my norm for the summer. Like the very idea of having jeans or leggings makes me frown lol So as I was getting dressed this morning I was thinking of what to wear. Ans in true Shainna fashion I put this little look together last minute. Everything in this outfit (except for the belt) has been worn before. The skirt is simple the circle scarf from American Apparel i posted about seen here. My shirt, is actually a bodycon dress from H&M tucked in! If you havent seen me in the H&M dress check out my instagram photos from this weekend @ThickgrlsCloset. And I wore my knock off Dolce Vita sandals I told u about here. Heck yea I reuse the hell out of my clothes lol Needless to say I felt very summery and ready to go to work.

I love summer, cause that means time to buy some new clothes and of course sandals. I have been seeing the Dolce Vita sandals all over the place. And of course the fashion lover I am, I would love to own a pair. HOWEVER! I'm not spending $69 on a pair of sandals. So imagine my excitement when I found a very similar pair at Target for only $14.99. I just had to snatch it up! I ended up getting a pair in pink which I wore on Thursday and in black which I wore on Saturday. For the #win!
First let me give a shout out to Dots for selling this dress! So today was a relatively nice day here in Jersey, Nice enough to walk outside and not die of a heat stroke the second you walk outside lol I was heading to lunch with my bestie and then headed to the mall. So i threw on this hi/low dress I got from Dots about 2 weeks ago. When I saw this two tone dress, I just knew it had to make its way into my closet. It's really thin, so I had to break out the spanx (which I have to buy a new pair) to wear it. But its fine because I got tons and tons of complements on it today. I wore it two ways. I tried it with the blue accessories and then kept it simple when we actually went to the mall. But I am definitely in love with the hi/low hems for the summer.

So I figure like the rest of the world I should do a weekly rounded up of my fashion instagrams or anything related as such! I am grateful for instagram for the simple fact, that my outfits don't have to go to waist anymore. Having this new job, its really hard for me to get a full shoot in and make it to work on time, so i settle for instagram which in my opinion has been an awesome alternative.
But with all that said, here's my week worth of instagram's...
My new owl necklace I got from Payless!
My new shoes for Justfab.com (I love their shoes...affordable and in my size #win)
Sore this on Saturday to hang with the fam.
Monday's work look finally found some awesome skinny belts
Wednesday's look, I love this dress and of course I had to add the neon!
Thursday's look, I was extra tall but thats fine! lol
oh and before I forget follow me on instagram @Thickgrlscloset
Yes I speak twitter language in everyday life and shall not judge my lifestyle lol I know it's been awhile that I've done a post. Please forgive me I'm trying to find a balance between my grown up life and blogging, so bare with me lol But anyway this post is all about the life that Madison Plus is giving me. Personally it took me awhile to really warm up to Madison Plus, but their most recent Editors Picks is working for me. My goal for this summer is to have EVEN more colors and prints in my closet, and step my blazer game up. I work in and office I need to own more blazers. But all know me I don't do normal sooooo yea. But anyway in true Shay fashion I have quite the wish list of items I want.
What I really enjoy is that they tap into the trends. A lot of brands are no longer afraid of color and bold prints for the plus size woman, and a lot of young women need that outlet to find this pieces. And I think Madison Plus does just that.
Check out the Green Blazer!
New goal for me...definitely keep my eyes on Madison Plus. Why? Cause clearly we speak the same language lol. Now but for real check them out.
